Symptoms

  1. A SELECT statement fails with:
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kglhpd-bad-free], [0x44DFFC210], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []


  2. Review of the generated tracefiles reveals a call stack similar to:
    kglhpd_internal <- kghfrunp <- kghfnd <- kghalo <- kghgex <- kghalf <- kglHeapInitializeIn <- ternal <- kglobpn <- ternal <- kglpim <- kglpin <- kkspsc0
