After a reboot of a new server, ASM fails to start
You have already recreated the configuration with roothas.pl (deconfigure and then the command from ASMs root.sh) and verified the the ownership of the /var/tmp/.oracle sockets, but ORA-29701 keeps reoccurring.
While you are not able to start ASM with with sqlplus, but 'svrctl start asm' works.
This is a fresh install using 18.104.22.168 binaries. After a reboot, when you are trying to startup the ASM instance from sqlplus/SYSASM you get
However you can issue a 'svrctl start asm' and ASM will come up. Once ASM is started once this way however, sqlplus begins working to start and stop the instance.
