Linux x86-64

Using Oracle SQL Connector for Hadoop Distributed File System (OSCH) while trying to create an Oracle external table from Hive table using the ExternalTable tool fails with below error:

oracle.hadoop.exttab.ExternalTableException: Hive error: default.hive_tab table not found
        at oracle.hadoop.exttab.hive.HiveSource.initialize(
        at oracle.hadoop.exttab.hive.HiveSource.getDataSet(
        at oracle.hadoop.exttab.ExternalTable.doCreateTable(
        at oracle.hadoop.exttab.ExternalTable.main(

        at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(
        at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(

Checking in Hive shows that the hive_tab tables does exist.
