Information in this document applies to any platform.
A customer running TimesTen 188.8.131.52.1 on an Exalytics server encountered a condition in which the data store became invalidated and failed to recover itself. It was subsequently determined that the data store recovery process was in an endless loop because each attempt at recovery failed on the original invalidation condition. The customer eventually destroyed and recreated the data store and repopulated it from its external sources.
While this problem was identified on a TimesTen instance installed on an Exalytics server, there is no reason why this "endless recovery loop" could not occur in any other TimesTen installation; the potential problem is generic.
