Exadata storage cell configuration check reports temporary inability to reach NTP or DNS server (Doc ID 1563478.1)

Symptoms

1. Getting the following critical alert for either DNS or NTP server from an Exadata storage cell:

Cell configuration check discovered the following problems: Check Exadata configuration via ipconf utility Verifying of Exadata configuration file /opt/oracle.cellos/cell.conf Checking DNS[NTP] server on <IP address> : FAILED Error.

2. The storage cell alerthistory.out would have an entry like this:
