ORA-1000 Cursor Leak During dbms_cdc_subscribe.extend_window (Doc ID 1564000.1)

Symptoms

When executing the following code several times within the same session, the cursor count for the session continues to grow until hitting the limit and then get the ORA-01000 error.

DECLARE
 SUBSCRIPTION_NAME_IN VARCHAR2(32767);

BEGIN
 SUBSCRIPTION_NAME_IN := 'LSW_TASK_BW_SUB';

  dbms_cdc_subscribe.extend_window(
  subscription_name=> SUBSCRIPTION_NAME_IN);
  COMMIT;
 
  dbms_lock.sleep(1);
 
  dbms_cdc_subscribe.purge_window(
  subscription_name=> SUBSCRIPTION_NAME_IN);
  COMMIT;
 
END;
/
