ORA-14659 on Table Having Nested Loop With Interval Partition Failed After DB Upgrade From 11.1.0.7 To 11.2.0.3 (Doc ID 1567436.1)

Goal

The following table creation worked in 11.1.0.7 and 11.2.0.2 but started giving problem while creating in 11.2.0.3 or while migrating the table to 11.2.0.3 DB.
ORA-14659: Partitioning method of the parent table is not supported

CREATE TABLE client_entity_errlog
(
  client_id NUMBER,
  date_added DATE,
  error_code NUMBER,
  error_text NVARCHAR2(2000),
  entity_tree entity_tree_tabtype
)
  NESTED TABLE entity_tree
  STORE AS client_entity_errlog_stoA (
  NESTED TABLE COLUMN_VALUE
  STORE AS client_entity_errlog_stoB
  )
PARTITION BY RANGE (date_added)
INTERVAL (NUMTODSINTERVAL(7,'day'))
(PARTITION p1 VALUES LESS THAN (TO_DATE('2013/03/01','YYYY/MM/DD')))
/

In new databases I get

CREATE TABLE client_entity_errlog
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-14659: Partitioning method of the parent table is not supported
