How to load the Oracle NoSQL Database (NoSQL DB) Client into Oracle RDBMS 12c. This is for customers who want to run Java Stored Procedures to interact with Oracle NoSQL DB from RDBMS 12c.

Oracle NoSQL DB classes are created with JDK 1.6.  Oracle 12c is the earliest release to contain a Java Virtual Machine compatible with Java Version 1.6.

This example uses Oracle NoSQL Database Community Edition 12cR1 ( It is available for download under Oracle NoSQL Database on Oracle Technology Network.

The example here provides sample code for educational purposes only and not supported by Oracle Support Services. It has been tested internally, however, and works as documented. We do not guarantee that it will work for you, so be sure to test it in your environment before relying on it.

Proofread this sample code before using it! Due to the differences in the way text editors, e-mail packages and operating systems handle text formatting (spaces, tabs and carriage returns), this sample code may not be in an executable state when you first receive it. Check over the sample code to ensure that errors of this type are corrected.

NOTE: In the examples that follow, user details, cluster names, hostnames, etc. represent a fictitious sample (and are used to provide an illustrative example only). Any similarity to actual persons, or entities, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.
