Error "MySQL Server Has Gone Away" When Aborted_connections Is Not Incremented

Information in this document applies to any platform.
- MySQL Client Application receives error 2006 "MySQL Server Has Gone Away".
- MySQL Server wasn't restarted recently.
- The Aborted_connections and Aborted_clients status variables don't increment (please note that some network errors may take up to wait_timeout seconds before incrementing Aborted_connections)
