After Upgrading to MySQL 5.6, MySQL Enterprise Backup Copy-back Operation Fails; innodb_data_file_path (Doc ID 1574612.1)

When attempting to copy-back a backup in MySQL 5.6, the following error occurs.


The issue can be reproduced using the following steps:

  1. Install MySQL 5.6 using the default value for innodb_data_file_path.
  2. Create a backup and apply the log.
  3. Try to restore the backup.


The issue starts after upgrading to MySQL 5.6.7 or later.
