When attempting to manipulate the TINYINT and SMALLINT data types using the Oracle ODBC Driver for Rdb and Microsoft .NET 64 bit, the following error may be returned:
- If you multiply negative 1 by zero an exception is thrown - SELECT (-1 * 0) from tb_employee
- If you cast a value as a TINYINT an exception is thrown - SELECT CAST(1 AS TINYINT) from tb_employee
