Purpose
To explain why RMAN reports the warning:
RMAN-08137: WARNING: archived log not deleted, needed for standby or upstream capture process
or
RMAN-08137: WARNING: archived log not deleted as it is still needed archived log file
when Oracle "Capture" technology is being used.
Oracle "Capture" technology encompasses the following Oracle products;
Streams Replication (Capture, including Downstream Capture and the Standby Database RFS client).
CDC (Change Data Capture)
GoldenGate (Registered EXTRACT or Integrated EXTRACT)
