- The wait event 'library cache: mutex X' appears in the Top Five Timed Foreground Events of the AWR (or Statspack) report.
- Top SQL with Top Events Section of the ASH report shows the event 'library cache: mutex X' is related to an INSERT statement into an interval partitioned table.
(It's possible that other events are also associated with the same INSERT statement.)
There may be no apparent changes, or you may have recently upgraded from a release of Oracle Database at 10g or below.
