Goal
How can I calculate or check the space used in blocks of tables with SDO_GEOMETRY columns?
The problem is if you have a table in an Oracle database with a SDO_GEOMETRY column and if you have re-calculated the table statistics with DBMS_STATS.GATHER_TABLE_STATS the USER_SEGMENTS view gets you back the total space used by the table for ALL table columns. But what I need is a method to calculate only the total space used from ALL table columns WITHOUT the SDO_GEOMETRY column. And this independent if the SDO_GEOMETRY column has a spatial index or not.
