Symptoms
2 Node RAC Primary configured with a 2 Node RAC Physical Standby database.
The issue:
The physical standby does not appear to be applying redo and a lag exists between the primary and the standby sites. Redo is shipped however Managed Recovery is not progressing and looks to be sitting at the same log sequence and block number from a recovery perspective.
Changes
A network outage occurred between the sites just prior to the point in time where MRP has last successfully applied redo in the standby site.
