How to Reset IB Port in Exadata Environment (Doc ID 1592359.1)

Goal

In certain situations it may be required to reset an IB connection with either a Cell or Database Machine for troubleshooting an IB Fabric or OFED related issue.

Intention here is to avoid having to reboot the node in question to re-establish connectivity across the IB fabric.

 

If at all uncertain that the following should be done please seek guidance from Oracle Support before running these commands!
