Questions on Installing Third Party Software (like HP Dataprotector Client Installation) On Exadata Compute Nodes

Qn1:Here is the query from customer :
We wish to install the dataprotector client on the exadata compute nodes.
During the installation, xinetd service will be restart. Please confirm if it would impact compute node.
Qn2:Yes, it is HP DataProtector, which is certified for the operating system we wish to back up. We only wish to back up file systems on the exadata compute host, not the databases themselves. What I am trying to confirm is if there are any issues with enabling xinetd on the exadata compute hosts that might affect other systems. As this is an engineered system, we don't have a test system that we can just update to try things out, hence why I am trying to get some confirmation from support around this.
