After Oracle Big Data Appliance V2.2 / V2.3 Upgrade Cannot Run Existing Oozie Jobs / Workflows in the Oozie Coordinator (Doc ID 1597208.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to Oracle Big Data Appliance V2.2.1 (CDH 4.3/CM 4.6.3) or V2.3.1 (CDH 4.4/CM 4.7.2)  existing Oozie jobs / workflows can not be run in the Oozie Coordinator.  You will see this from the Hue Web UI by going to the Oozie Coordinator and selecting an existing Workflow. This will immediately raise an exception. 

See the problem when logging into the Oozie Editor/Dashboard from either CM (All Services > hue > Hue Web UI) or directly from the Hue Web UI, http://bdanode04.example.com:8888.

Once in the Hue Web UI navigate to: Oozie Editor/Dashboard > Coordinators and try to run existing Coordinator jobs from the Coordinator Manager.
