Automatic Service Restart for HBase Services IS Not Working As Expected. (Doc ID 1597533.1)

Goal

Auto-restart of HBASE Services is set in Cloudera Manager(CM). But HBASE Services are NOT automatically restarted when any of the services die. The dying of the Region Servers is be caused by the long GC executions as the servers were runing under heavy load.

The following message is seen in the file: /var/log/cloudera-scm-agent/supervisord.log:

2013-10-30 16:37:52,129 INFO exited: 1668-hbase-REGIONSERVER (exit status 0; expected)
