Symptoms

Trying to enable asynch IO and getting the following error while trying to run make:

[oracle@xxx] <ORACLE_HOME>/rdbms/lib> make -f ins_rdbms.mk async_on
make: *** No rule to make target `async_on'. Stop.

Changes

 Running "make" as shown above on an Oracle DBMS release 10.2 or later.
