12c EM Express shows Invalid Certificate Error in web browser (Doc ID 1608258.1)

Symptoms

When trying to go to the 12c EM Express address in a web browser in a web browser it fails with a certificate error.

 

In Firefox this shows as "Secure Connection Failed" and error code sec_error_bad_signature

 

In Internet Explorer 10 this shows as "There is a problem with this website's security certificate."

 

In Chrome this shows as "Invalid Server Certificate"
