Symptoms

 
during impdp these errors are seen

ORA-39083: Object type INDEX failed to create with error:
ORA-01452: cannot CREATE UNIQUE INDEX; duplicate keys found

on a timestamp with timezone column

OR


silent corruption / rounding of the fractional seconds part of timestamp with timezone data is seen

for example a timestamp with timezone column has these rows

12/09/2012 16:45:22.897000 Europe/Brussels
12/09/2012 16:45:25.097000 Europe/Brussels
12/09/2012 16:45:27.406000 Europe/Brussels

but after the import using impdpd the following values are shown in table:

12-SEP-12 16.45.23.000000 Europe/Brussels
12-SEP-12 16.45.25.000000 Europe/Brussels
12-SEP-12 16.45.27.000000 Europe/Brussels
