After RMAN CATALOG Command alert log Shows: Error Validating File Dummy (n) In Piece xxx Missing Header (Doc ID 1612387.1)

Symptoms

Performing duplicate database copy to another server using:
duplicate database to <newdbname> backup location '/<path>/'

The duplicate finished successfully but when checked in the alert log, saw multiple errors like below

 

Error validating file dummy (30) in piece 
/<path>/<backuppiece_name.bkp: missing header
