ORA-600 [kntgMvLogObjn] When Dropping A Table (Doc ID 1612402.1)

Symptoms

  1. When trying to drop a table the following error is raised:

    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kntgMvLogObjn], [0], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
    ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation

    The error can be also seen for other statements and not only for drop statements.

  2. Review of the generated tracefiles reveals a call stack similar to:
    ... <- kntgSnapLogObjnAndFlg <- kntgslm <- kntklc <- kxtrlod <- kkblod <- kqlpcdlod <- kqllod <- kglobld <- kglobpn <- kglpim <- kkdllk0 <- kkdlLockTblOptViaEV <- dtbdrv <- opiexe <- ...
