ORA-600 [kntgMvLogObjn] When Dropping A Table (Doc ID 1612402.1)

Symptoms

  1. When trying to drop a table the following error is raised:
    Errors in file /u01/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/miadm/MIADM/trace/MIADM_ora_46053.trc (incident=55905):
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kntgMvLogObjn], [0], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
    Incident details in: /u01/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/miadm/MIADM/incident/incdir_55905/MIADM_ora_46053_i55905.trc
    Errors in file /u01/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/miadm/MIADM/incident/incdir_55905/MIADM_ora_46053_i55905.trc:
    ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation

    The error can be also seen for other statements and not only for drop statements.

  2. Review of the generated tracefiles reveals a call stack similar to:
