Purpose

The purpose of this article is to explain how to install Oracle 9i on 
Alpha Open VMS directly from the multi CD set.

 

Scope

 This document is intended for database administrators installing Oracle 9i
on Alpha OpenVMS who need to install directly from the CD's, without copying
the savesets to a common disk directory before installing.
