Symptoms

A real-time apply is not working in a physical standby Dataguard. The changes are only applied after a log switch in the primary database.

Changes

The following command was issued to enable real-time apply: ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE USING CURRENT LOGFILE;
