Symptoms

Non-RAC -- 11203 -- Linux x86-64 (oel5) -- non-exadata

Need to enable support for Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC) in Oracle 11.2.0.3.0 database with Oracle Linux 5.8 64-bit operating system, running on a Sun Server X3-2 with ZFS 7320.

When creating a table with support HCC, the following error occurs :


Additional information:
* The tablespace resides in ASM storage.
* ASM diskgroups' COMPATIBILITY and DATABASE_COMPATIBILITY, from v$asm_diskgroup, set to '11.2.0.3.0'
