Imp and Impdp Generate ORA-03237 while Creating Tables In A Migration Process (Doc ID 1621306.1)

Symptoms

While runing a full import to migrate the data from an old version, the load process reports:

IMP-00058: ORACLE error 3237 encountered
ORA-03237: Initial Extent of specified size cannot be allocated in tablespace (APPLSYSD)
. importing APPS's objects into APPS
. importing APPLSYS's objects into APPLSYS
. importing APPLSYS's objects into APPLSYS
. . importing table                 "AD_APPL_TOPS"
.....................
IMP-00058: ORACLE error 3237 encountered
ORA-03237: Initial Extent of specified size cannot be allocated in tablespace (APPLSYSD)
