How to Find the Order the Indexes on a Given Table were Created? (Doc ID 1622224.1)

Goal

Sometimes it is useful to know the order indexes where created on a table. This is for example necessary when creating a table that should be added to a merge table as the table definitions of all the underlying tables must be the same.

It is generally preferred to use partitions instead of the MERGE storage engine.

This explains how to obtain the indexes in the order they were created on an existing table.
