ORA-7445 Kotgatc When Compiling Package Body (Doc ID 1626418.1)

Alert log shows next error:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kotgatc()+4] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x2C] [PC:0x108928EE4] [Address not mapped to object] []

The referenced trace file does not show a current sql but shows a call stack similar to:

... kotgatc qcsogati qctogtia qctostcdc qctostco qctcopn qctcpqb qctcstmt qcsdrv qcitrans ph2csql_analyze ...

The issue can be reproduced with next simple testcase:

SQL> drop type dropme_type_01
SQL> create or replace type dropme_type_01 as object(field01 number)
SQL> select dropme_type_01(field02=> 1) from dual;

The call stack from the test case is similar to:

... kotgatc qcsogadty qcsogati qctogtia qctosiacv qctostcdc qctostco qctcopn qctcpqb qctcpqbl xtydrv opitca kksFullTypeCheck ...


The problem happens in and higher versions. There is no evidence of a similar error in previous versions.
