Creating spatial index with SDO_DML_BATCH_SIZE=1 ON EMPTY TABLE FAILS 11.2.0.4 > 12.1.0.2 (Doc ID 1627191.1)

Symptoms

When creating a Spatial index using 'SDO_DML_BATCH_SIZE=1' on an empty table that has an sdo_geometry column, the following errors are generated:

 

ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-13236: internal error in R-tree processing: [MDRCNCCMTTXN:16]
ORA-13249: mdrcncupdidx:17
ORA-13234: failed to access R-tree-index table [MDRT table]
ORA-29400: data cartridge error
Error - OCI_NODATA
ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.SDO_IDX", line 12
ORA-06512: at line 1

This worked in 11.2.0.3 and now fails in 11.2.0.4

Changes

 Upgraded database from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4.
