Symptoms

You are trying to connect from Oracle on Linux to an Access database on Windows machine A using Dg4ODBC 11.2.0.3 installed on Windows machine B and get the error -

SQL> select * from all_tables@DVB ;
select * from all_tables@DVB
                        *
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine
cannot open the file '(unknown)'.  It is already opened exclusively by another
user, or you need permission to view its data. {HY000,NativeErr = -1032}
ORA-02063: preceding 2 lines from DVB
