Solaris: GI VIP Does not Come up After Applied Solaris Oct 2013 Bundle Patch (Doc ID 1630869.1)

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 11.2.0.3 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

Symptoms

Oracle VIP does not come up after system reboot.
- Solaris OS Patches (Oct bundle) were installed and the system rebooted.
- Oracle RAC 11GR2 is running in a Solaris Container . All Resource Start except VIP and Listener.
- The VIP address can be manually plumbed in the Container.

Agent log shows the following error
