QUERY RETURNS TRUNCATED VALUE USING ORACLE ODBC DRIVER (Doc ID 1636799.1)

Oracle ODBC Driver - Version 11.2.0.1 and later
Microsoft Windows (32-bit)

Symptoms

The number fetched from a column contains more zeros then they are truncated using Oracle native ODBC driver.

whereas the values are retrieved correctly when using "Microsoft ODBC Driver for Oracle" for the same query in the same environment.

Truncated column looks similar as below example

MS Driver
 1108228  1  200000000005838812000
 1108228  1  200000000005838825700

Oracle Driver
 1108228  1  5838812000

 1108228  1  5838825700
