The Windows 3PAR vendor has been contacted, and they confirmed that the write-caching option can not be disabled.
This information is contained in the Implementation Guide for Windows 3PAR.

Despite the pre - requirement defined in the Oracle documentation, this storage doesn’t allow to disable write-caching option.

Are there any known problem in leaving this option turned on for ASM disks?
