Purpose

This document explains how to reorganize manually the SYS.AUD$ data dictionary table. 

Starting with Oracle RDBMS 10.2 the reorganization of the SYS.AUD$ table can be performed via the DBMS_AUDIT_MGMT package. For more information see <Note 731908.1> -  New Feature DBMS_AUDIT_MGMT To Manage And Purge Audit Information.

This article demonstrates how to manually change the storage settings of the SYS.AUD$ table
