If you are allowed to create GRID DISK beyond a cell disk's physical size when flash cache compression is enabled, then you may be running into this problem.
CellCLI> create griddisk ACFS_FD_01_exa01cel05 celldisk=FD_01_exa01cel05, size=100G
CELL-02845: Drop all flash cell disks before flash compression can be configured
CELL-02845 is an expected error and should be seen because when flash cache compression is enabled, the total size of data grid disks and flash log cannot exceed the physical size of flash disk.
However you are able to bypass this by creating a smaller size and then making resize worked.
CellCLI> create griddisk ACFS_FD_01_exa01cel05 celldisk=FD_01_exa01cel05, size=10G
GridDisk ACFS_FD_01_exa01cel05 successfully created
