Exalytics: TimesTen 188.8.131.52.5 Database Crash By Invalidation Caused By A 'SPINLATCH Assertion'

TimesTen database crashed due to which the datastore encountered an invalidation caused by a SPINLATCH assertion.
Error message from ttmesg log:
Invalidating data store: /u02/app/oracle/oradata/TimesTen/pvh_qas_tt_data_store/pvh_qas_tt_data_store
Reason: Assertion failed: lp->lhdr.ltype == SbSpinLatch [latchMgr.c:/main/69:sbSpinLatchGet:1987] PID 8997 (ttIsqlCmd) CONN 2 (pvh_qas_tt_data_store) 2014-04-08 00:18:52.138
At the time of the crash, below 2 processes were running:
- The Index Advisor, in capture mode 0
- A ttLoadFromOracle process, started from a PL/SQL procedure
Also the index advisor was running on a different set of tables than that were loaded by the ttLoadFromOracle process.
