Symptoms
After upgrading to BDA 2.5.0, with LZO compression RPMS for 1.2.3 installed, the Hive Metastore test fails while running 'mammoth -c' with the following:
Starting hive metastore test on all servers
Query Hive Metastore Table Failed on node <HOSTNAME1>
Please check details in /tmp/<HOSTNAME1>_testquery.out
Query Hive Metastore Table Passed on node <HOSTNAME2>
Please check details in /tmp/<HOSTNAME2>_testquery.out
...
Hive metastore test failed
Query Hive Metastore Table Failed on node <HOSTNAME1>
