Hive Metastore Test Fails After 2.5 Upgrade Running "mammoth -c" on Oracle Big Data Appliance with LZO compression RPMS Installed (Doc ID 1676586.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to BDA 2.5.0, with  LZO compression RPMS for 1.2.3 installed, the Hive Metastore test fails while running 'mammoth -c' with the following:

Starting hive metastore test on all servers

Query Hive Metastore Table Failed on node <HOSTNAME1>
Please check details in /tmp/<HOSTNAME1>_testquery.out

Query Hive Metastore Table Passed on node <HOSTNAME2>
Please check details in /tmp/<HOSTNAME2>_testquery.out
...
Hive metastore test failed
