ORA-15071: ASM disk "<disk_name>" is already being dropped (Doc ID 1684159.1)

1] One of ASM disks were dropped from a normal redundancy diskgroup to replace old disk with new disk.

SQL>   alter diskgroup OCR drop disk OCR_0003;

Diskgroup altered.

2] Rebalance has been completed as below

SQL> select * from v$asm_operation;

no rows selected

3] The status of disk being dropped shows "DROPPING" status forever.

   4    3 OCR_0003        /u02/oradata/asm_disk11        CACHED  MEMBER     DROPPING    2,000    2,000    1,966 OCR_0003
   4    4 OCR_0004        /u02/oradata/asm_disk12        CACHED  MEMBER     NORMAL      2,000    2,000    1,604 OCR_0004
   4    5 OCR_0005        /u02/oradata/asm_disk13        CACHED  MEMBER     NORMAL      2,000    2,000    1,604 OCR_0005

4] ORA-15071 error occurs when trying to drop the same disk.

SQL> alter diskgroup OCR  drop  disk OCR_0003;
alter diskgroup OCR drop  disk OCR_0003
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-15032: not all alterations performed
ORA-15071: ASM disk "OCR_0005" is already being dropped

5] The following warning is visible in ASM alert.log

WARNING: grp 4 disk OCR_0003 still has contents (32 AUs)
