Persistent TNS-12170 and/or TNS-12535 errors in alert log caused by "Bit9" Security Scanning software (Doc ID 1901780.1)

Symptoms

After some system changed, the Database alert log may get filled with persistent "timeout" messages such as the following:

 

 *Note: The "Client address" is actually the local Server itself.

- Remote client connections may also fail intermittently with ORA-3113 and ORA-3114 errors.
