Symptoms

Running the JDE Platform Pack V43863-01.zip (Oracle VM Template for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1.2 and Tools 9.1.4.4 - Non Virtualized Database Server (Oracle Database 12.1.0.1), part of "Oracle VM Templates for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1.2 and Tools 9.1.4.4 (7.0.0) for Exalogic Media Pack for x86 64 bit" ) installation on ODA VP (Oracle Database Appliance) is waiting for ever. 

From the OUI log  install session at:
/u01/app/oraInventory/logs/installActions<time stemp>.log, example "installActions2014-06-04_10-07-14AM.log":
