Symptoms

Relinking fail:

-Wl,-rpath,$GRID_HOME/lib -lm `cat $GRID_HOME/lib/sysliblist` -ldl -lm -L$GRID_HOME/lib
$GRID_HOME/lib//libserver11.a(kkpod.o): In function `kkpodOcdHeapInit':
kkpod.c:(.text+0xe4de): undefined reference to `kglHeapInitializeFL'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [$GRID_HOME/rdbms/lib/oracle] Error 1
Error in invoking target 'irman ioracle' of makefile '$GRID_HOME/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk'. See '$GRID_HOME/install/relinkActions2014-06-29_04-33-56-PM.log' for details.

Startup of the database also fails with:

SQL> startup
ORA-27504: IPC error creating OSD context
ORA-27300: OS system dependent operation:bind_fail failed with status: 0
ORA-27301: OS failure message: Error 0
ORA-27302: failure occurred at: skgxpvifconf
ORA-27303: additional information: requested interface 169.XXX.XXX.222 failed bind. Check output from ifconfig command
