PGA Constantly Growing In 11.2.0.4, 11.2.0.3, But Not In 11.2.0.1,Windows 2008 R2 SP1 (Doc ID 1906475.1)

Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) - Version: 2008 R2

Symptoms

After upgrading from 11.2.0.1 64Bit to 11.2.0.3 and after that to 11.2.0.4, PGA grows constantly which consumes all the free memory. Shared_pool is also growing all the time.
The system comes to a hold and freezes, database must be restarted every 6 hours, sometimes database server must be restarted every 12 hours.


Changes

Changed from AMM to ASMM Memory management and tested with several memory size settings for sga_target but no results.
