Accessing Existing Workflow/Coordinator/Bundle Jobs from Hue Raises "server 500" after BDA 3.0.1/CDH 5.0.1 Upgrade from CDH 2.*/CDH 4.*

Symptoms

After upgrading to BDA 3.0.1/CDH 5.0.1  from CDH 2.*/CDH 4.* trying to view  existing Workflow/Coordinator/Bundle Jobs from the Hue UI raises "server 500".

1. From the Hue UI, navigating to:  Workflows > Dashboard and Selecting a job from pre-upgrade like 0000003-140623143211765-oozie-oozi-W in the screen shot:

 

Raises:

Server Error (500)

 2. Additional symptoms are that existing Oozie Workflows do not show up in the Hue UI of the upgraded BDA cluster and Coordinator jobs are missing the previous frequency information.
