This note helps you in resolving the ORA-01291 errors with log miner continuous_mine after an incomplete recovery
After a point in time recovery, invoking Log Miner fails with ORA-01291 error. It will not work even with any SCN, including SCNs very close to the current point in time. All archivelogs and redo logs from the time since the chosen SCN are online and available, and can be individually added with logminer, but the continuous_mine option will not work.
