Symptoms
Distributed transaction failed with:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-03150: end-of-file on communication channel for database link
ORA-02055: distributed update operation failed; rollback required
ORA-02063: preceding lines from <REMOTE DATABASE LINK>
However from the remote database the error returned is
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [qsmmixGetIdxKeyStats()+231] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x8] [PC:0x58AE44F] [Address not mapped to object] []
Changes
Upgraded source database to 11.2.0.4 and remote database still remains lower to 11.2.0.4
