Last updated on FEBRUARY 26, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Database Configuration Assistant - Version 12.1.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When run dbca to either create a container database including a pluggable database or to create a pluggable database under an existing container database, there is no way to specify that the default tablespace of the
pluggable database is created using bigfile.

Also When creating database using "custom database" template in dbca in step 11/14 after choose "customize storage locations"
and then when editing chosen tablespace and change the status of check boxes "use automatic segment space management" or "use bigfile tablespace",
after applying the changes by pressing "Appy" button, the status of this check boxes will be changed for all tablespaces not just for the one edited.
