On Oracle Big Data Appliance Hive Server2 Goes Down when there is Heavy Load

Symptoms
On Oracle Big Data Appliance(BDA), Hive Server2 service goes down during heavy load. There seems to be a long running query being executed when Hiveserver turns BAD .
In /var/run/cloudera-scm-agent/process/<id>-hive-HIVESERVER2\logs\stdout.log on node04 there is an OutOfMemory(OOM) error reported
