Instructions to Install Sqoop Teradata Connector on BDA 3.0.* (Doc ID 1914063.1)

Purpose

This document provides instructions on how to install Sqoop Teradata Connector on BDA 3.0.* release. 

As per Cloudera Sqoop2 is not mature yet at this stage(with CDH5.0.*/CDH5.1 releases) and lacks quite a few functionality that Sqoop1 provides. Sqoop1 is the one recommend to use. The Sqoop Teradata connector is for Sqoop1 and cannot be used in Sqoop2.

For feature differences between Sqoop 1 and Sqoop 2, please refer to Cloudera CDH5 documentation
